Neha’s Story
When we started our first handicraft community group, Neha was one of the first women who was invited. Neha is a wife and mother of a very sweet autistic 7-year-old boy and is a lot of love and passion wrapped up in a small package! Over the first few months of meetings, she regularly brought all sorts of thing to show us that she had made. She was proud to show us, but had no idea she could use those same skills to help provide for her family. We quickly realized that she is creative and pays attention to detail so it's no surprise that she has turned into our embroidery queen! She has worked so hard on our Oh Holy Night embroideries and is already working on a new embroidery products coming out in the spring! She is proud of her new skills and her ability to help provide for her family and we are proud of her too!
